The snow is almost melted here, so I am crushing and sorting rocks again. I will be rock hunting 2-4 days each week during May and expect time to shipping to be about 3-7 days.

Grit Kit, Bulk Bagged
This package contains all the grit and polish you will need for polishing 8-12 pounds of rocks in a rotary rock tumbler, (4 batches in a 3 pound barrel).

The grit and polish are packaged in plastic bags inside cardboard boxes.

  • 32 oz Coarse Silicon Carbide grit
  • 16 oz Medium Silicon Carbide grit
  • 8 oz Fine Pre-polish
  • 4 oz Polish
Additional coarse grit is included in this grit kit so that you can do the coarse grind twice, or so that you can do several batches in coarse and combine them to fill up the tumble barrel before going on to medium grit. I know it`s unconventional to include so much coarse grit, but by doing so I am paying attention to what people actually use rather than to traditional packaging. (For a 3 pound barrel use 1/8 of the coarse grit per batch, and 1/4 of the other grits.)
