Small (1/4 to 1/2 inch wide) stones from my rock crusher. Most of them have a hardness of about 7 on the Moh`s scale. Usually contains agate, jasper, petrified wood, chert, flint, quartize, chalcedony, and similar stones.

These have passed through a 1/2 inch screen and been retained on a 1/4 inch screen. (They might be as long as an inch if they are long and skinny.) They are very attractive as a mulch on bonsai. Contains many razor sharp shards so are not appropriate for a finger bowl.

Color  green, white, yellow, red, burgandy, black, gray, brown, beige, etc. Varies from day to day.  
Shape  Composed of both flakes and pea like stones.  
Size  About 1/4 to 1/2 inch  
~15 Lbs  I fill a USPS flat-rate box as full as possible. Weight varies from about 15 to about 18 pounds depending on the stones.
